Fa la la la la la reindeer card

He's so cute! My new punch did up the corners. Used Colored pencils. Marcella red and black ink and brown chalk ink to ink up the edges. Brown satin ribbon and a candy tag. Turned out pretty neat just did this one tonight.

Flower card

Got kinda tired of trying other methods so I used George and Basic Shape to create this card. Some clear embossing powder and a swirly stamp. A paper flower with a brad. Some Pointsetta paper that I got at Tuesday Morning. Very cute.

Butterfly Card

Cute Butterfly Stamp I'd picked up a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away. I used glossy paper and stickles.

Snowman ornament Card

I used the snowman ornament from cuttlebug and snowflakes A2 Folder. I messed up the folder part but made up for it by adding an ornament that is useable.

Christmas Card with Santa Claus

I used an old christmas card and cut him in a circle. snowflakes and gems and Martha stewart snow glitter and heat embossed with opaque white Merry Christmas.

Christmas Card

Cute Christmas Card. I used a circle scissor and an image from an old angel calendar. Inked up the edges and tied a white ribbon on top. The stripped pattern paper and blue harlquin I picked up at TJMax.

Life needs to slow down a bit!

Argh! I've been so busy working two jobs that I haven't had much time to catch up on here. But soon I hope to be able to get back in the swing of things. School starts back up in about a month. Yipee!! I'm hoping my life will calm down by then. Summers are always busy. We had so much going on lately. Went to Como Zoo and had our annual family reunion. Kids are making summer plans to go up North to their grandma's for a weeks stay each. Busy busy.

My Day Friday April 16th

I had to post this later, I've been super busy!! Our entire City was evacuated on Friday the 16th and we couldn't get back in until Saturday at 10:30am. I don't know what those who don't have a vehicle did but I think the Red Cross set up a shelter in the neighboring towns at the schools. I just took off for my parents house Kids in tow. After running around like crazy trying to find my son who didn't show up at the church where we were supposed to meet. Ended up having to go through the baracade down the street from my home to get to him. The Fire was HUGE! To say the least 200 people are now out of work, our taxes in town are supposed to go up the migrant workers will probably end up leaving. This business is the second largest in our City. It's not looking good. Nope nope nope. I have some really good shots of the fire from my home but they are on my camera still. I'll have to post them tonight. Luckily my house didn't catch fire because some of the chunks of ash were huge and could have easily caught the neighborhood homes on fire. That and the Anhydrous Amonia that we were afraid could have blown up. As it was the 20 minutes i was at the house after rushing home from work when i found out that it was on fire I heard 4 large explosions! I'm just really thankful nobody was seriously injured or killed.

Chocolate Covered Potato Eggs

I remember my grandmother making these in her Kitchen they are really pretty darn tasty! I was watching foodnetwork and Paula Deen recently and saw her making these and it brought back a ton of fun easter memories for me. I put the recipe into my recipe book and Hope I don't lose it again! Grandma has been gone over 18 years now and it just seems like yesterday that we were sitting in her kitchen making treats. Chocolate covered potato eggs, salted nut rolls and many others.

Spinner Card 2

A bunch of the supplies I used to create a spinner card. and a picture of it completed so sweet. :o) I have a Yahoo group called Cricut explorers that has these files that I made for the cricut. I mostly use George and Basic Shapes when I create these types of files for Design Studio.

Spinner Card1

Spinner Card I found on Dawn's Stamp TV I think LOL I can't remember anymore I'm coming down with CRS!
I made the file up in Design Studio because I cannot follow along with directions to well :o).
Much Easier to cut out in Cricut then assemble.
You need card stock and ribbon and piece of thread and some glue tape. Easy easy easy. Especially since I made the DS cut file with George and Basic Shapes. Many I'm lazy.!

Shaker Card

This is a shaker Card I made using Cuttlebug, MS Butterfly punch, micro beads, a couple small flower punches, Dimensional tape, Robins Nest Dew Drops, Acetate, and some ribbon. Ooooo and stickles.

Ice Cream anyone?

Cute Ice Cream Card

Third Waterfall Card

Second Waterfall Card

It's so cute!

Busy Busy Busy

As I sit here getting ready to head off to my second job. I remember I need to share my work I've been doing for the past couple of weeks!!! OMG I get so busy I forget to update. All I've been doing is making some cards and learning new techniques. Started my own Yahoo Group and generally been busy getting ready for the Federal Review at my favorite job. Bah........ I'm exhausted and scrapbooking and card making are my outlet so here is one of my creations. btw my yahoo group is cricut explorers.
First I learned how to make a waterfall card and made three up for my kids for tomorrow!! Yikes! It's easter already... I got frustrated cutting everything out so I made a cut file for making the waterfall card. I'm so lazy! LOL.
